Man Utd veteran admits his love for Istanbul

Recently voted Manchester United icon of all time, Ryan Giggs has confessed his love for Istanbul and it’s not just because Man Utd always get the better of Galatasaray and other Turkey based teams.

Who can blame him? Istanbul is a city where east meets west not to mention it’s Turkey's largest and most popular city.

With a population of 12.6 million, Istanbul is the world's fifth largest city and the only city in the world that spans two continents.

Over the past decade, Istanbul has experienced a renaissance, fast becoming an epicentre of fashion, art and culture, and deserving of the moniker 'the world's hippest city'. Istanbul is full of happening restaurants, bars, galleries and clubs, as well as being so chock-full of historical sites, Giggs might not be a ‘party boy’ like other famous footballers but it would take him weeks to explore.

For all its attributes, property in Istanbul is still very undervalued compared to other European cities so it won’t be a surprise if Giggsy snags himself a nice luxury Istanbul apartment.
