Perfect time to ski in Turkey

If for some reason you are tired of the current sunshine in UK and fancy a change, how about skiing in Turkey?

Heavy snowfall continues in eastern Turkey making it the perfect time to take a skiing holiday. Report suggest about 200million people in the UK are going away this Easter weekend and for those who fancy something different, it is the perfect time to ski at the Palandoken Skiing Center in eastern province of Erzurum.

According to local weather department officials, Snow thickness at the Palandoken Skiing Center has reached 120 centimeters and temperatures have dropped to zero Celsius degree. They are warning there will be heavy rainfall and snowfall and possible floods throughout the current week.

We would love to hear from our readers about this, would you swap the sunshine to ski in Turkey this time of year?
